Meet the AM Crew

Gabe Greene – Photographer/Writer/Editor/Founder

I have to admit that it feels kind of strange writing a small biography about myself (lol).  I have always been into photography.  I just never had the means to do anything about it.  Cars were 100% of my life and that is where my extra money went.  One day back in March 2011 I decided to just pick up my old Fujifilm point-and-shoot and get to work.  Over time I upgraded as money would let me.  In June I picked up my first DSLR (Canon XT) and a 50mm 1.8 lens.  I probably ran 20,000+ pictures through that camera before picking up a Canon T2i.

I live/eat/breathe/poop cars.  My full-time day job is a Data-Quality Associate for The NPD Group in our Automotive office.  I love it at NPD.  My other almost full-time job is right here on AutoModia and I have started a small photography business called Greene Ink Photography.

I am originally from Louisiana.  I am as coon-ass as anyone can get without the silly accent.  Leave me in Louisiana for too long and that accent will begin to creep back (lol).  In my spare time you can usually find me hanging out with my girlfriend or with friends and family.  Other than that I am always near my camera doing something with it.  My dream car is, and always will be, a 1970 Mustang Boss 302.  My Eleanor.

Erik Christensen (Chrintintin) – Photographer/Writer

Erik began taking photos as a kid.  His father had an old Pentax film camera and a tan leather bag from the 1970′s that he paid (his own money) to get fixed.  He used the ole Pentax until he dropped it and broke it beyond repair.  The majority of the photos he took were wildlife base and nature based, but, the bug was stuck.  In high school he joined the photography club and became an editor for the yearbook for 2 years.  After this was when he began to get into cars.  His photography slowly faded into the background.  He owes a lot of the inspiration to pick his camera back up to his buddy Costas Stergiou and he is currently shooting with a Canon 7D.

When Erik isn’t standing/crouching/kneeling/trying not to die behind a camera you can find him wearing MANY other hats.  He is a Staff Sargeant in the Air National Guard and he serves as a Traditional Guardsmen (one weekend a month/2 weeks per year).  He is also a Maintenance Production Manager for F-16 fighter jets.  He has had many assignments all across our great country.  When he isn’t in his military uniform you can find him as an Assistant Manager at Discount Tire.  Above all of this, Erik is a father to his 3-year-old son and husband to his wife of 4 years.  “As a parent you have got to take advantage of anytime spent with the little one because you don’t want to miss anything in their lives.”

Erik is originally from Norcal (WHAT UP SAN FRANCISCO!!! – Erik).  He wanted me to say that so I can only assume that is his place of birth (lol).  His father worked for the airlines and they moved around a bit before settling in Texas.  When asked about his dream car he took a minute to ponder.  (Are you pondering what I’m pondering?) Out of all the cars he could choose the answer came to a Pagani Zonda R.  GREAT CHOICE!

Richers Bun (BunBun) – Videographer/Photographer

Richers (or BunBun as we all know him) started taking pictures of his family moments.  A place that many photographers get their starts…right at home.  This would eventually move him to take pictures of anything and everything he found interesting as an expression of art.  Soon after that he fell right into taking pictures of people, cars, and events.

BunBun works part-time as an alignment mechanic at OneStop.  If he isn’t there you can find him deeply ingrained in his Canon 5D mkII shooting video and taking pictures.  When he isn’t shooting and/or working on cars you just might be able to find him working on his culinary skills.  Ladies, the man can cook!

He is originally from Houston, Texas and he drives a VERY nice Toyota Corolla.  He’d give that up in a heartbeat for a Datsun 280Z with a RB26 Turbo engine swap though.  Again, GREAT CHOICE!
