Summertime is drawing to a close. The kids will soon be going back to school and traffic will be roughly 100% worse for the morning commute. There are a select few of us die-hard enthusiasts that enjoy the drive and Planet Zero offers a gathering place every month for all of us. No other place like it exists in Houston so I want to take a moment to thank John Leigh and his gang of volunteers for doing what they do. Without them we would be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
This month’s “Girl of the Meet” is a beautiful young woman by the name of Maria Ramos. Since I have a soft spot for a good-looking latin chick I am unsure if I even pronounced my name right when I was introduced to her (lol), but I digress. Maria was born on March 26th 1988 in the town of Monterey, Mexico. She moved to the United States when she was 6 years old and has been here ever since. She got into modeling about a year and a half ago because people always told her that she was very expressive and very photogenic. Maria gets around Houston in a 2007 Toyota Corolla, however, her dream car is a new BMW M3. When she isn’t gracing the lens of a photographer you can usually find her working part-time at GameStop on the Northeast side of town. The kicker here is that when she isn’t doing either of those she will either be working out or playing video games. Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is her game of choice but she does get into a few girly girl games as well. Seeing that she was dressed up in a nice little dress and was kind of moving to the music I asked what her plans were later that evening. She said she was on her way home to kill some zombies! That is my kind of girl! You can find her on xBox360 as gangie, on PS3 as gangiex, or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/XMarieModelX . I want to thank Maria for coming out and spending some time with me and getting to know our wonderful automotive community. I am certain we will be seeing more of Maria in the future!
Ok I admit, there were cars there too! So before you guys start throwing things at me here are the cars and the people who make this all possible. Enjoy!
