Love is in the air and all the lovebirds are back out. No, nope, sorry, that’s pollen, it’s raining, and this is Houston in March. That means that the Lonestar Drift series is back and we are out fighting with mother nature to get some runs in before she eventually pours down all over us. Which she eventually did.
Starting early on Sunday morning these guys were out testing their cars and laying some rubber on the ground at Gulf Greyhound Park. They ran until they had no more tires and then probably ran a little bit more after that.
LS V8’s, SR20’s, KA’s, 1JZ’s, 2JZ’s, and many other motors were out there singing the song of their people. A song that attracted viewers from all over the area and all fans from all over the state. What would life be like without fast cars that spend most of their lives sideways? That’s a life I don’t want to think about honestly.
